Viavi ATC-601 Transponder Ramp Test Set Mode S/A/C
The ATC-601 conducts the ATC transponder test for mode S, A, and C transponders as mandated by the updated Federal Aviation Regulations (91.172 and Part 43, Appendix F as amended March 4, 1987). Once the test has been commanded, the operator can verify and certify the operation/installation of Mode S/A/C transponders with little to no interaction thanks to the test set’s extensive “AUTO TEST” function, which is microprocessor driven. In addition to being insulated from stress and vibration during ramp testing, the ATC-601 is environmentally packed to function in any weather.
